急~~~~~~~`初二英语

it's sunday yesterday. the air was fresh, the sky was clear. and my heart was just like a happy bird flying in the sky. i went to the park to have a picnic with my classmates together. thanks to the warm wind, we decided to fly kites. we ran quickly to make the kite fly highly. then Jimmy and i sat behind the lake and put our feet in the water. it's so cool! at about 2 o'clock, we all got back to our car to eat our lunch. Wow! "how nice is it! there are hunburgers,sandwithes,milk,chiken and salad……"they said. i smiled, "because my mother is the cook!" we sang songs and talked as we ate.
we all enjoyed ourselves very much.
Ha! what a nice day!

it's 拜托我用的就是was，只不过我就喜欢这么简写，提问人不会看不出来吧。

zby_yoyo的不错但是认为有几个地方需要修改：
1.“then Jimmy and i sat behind the lake ”
意思是坐在湖边（对吧？？），用 behind 有点不贴切认为还是用
sat on the lakeside 贴切点。

2.“talked as we ate”这句可否解释一下？实在不知道怎么翻译？
难道是……“交谈，因为我们吃了”？如有误，可否更正为
“ tal
